Cherokee fifth graders participated in the CHAMPS Program today. Sergeant Mike Jones went over the importance of reporting bullies and to stop the bullying cycle. We are grateful to Polk Co. Sheriff's Department and Sergeant Mike Jones for providing the CHAMPS program for our fifth graders! 💙

Thank you to Ryan Robinson and Monica Whitfield from Family Savings Credit Union for coming to visit all our fifth graders today. They discussed financial literacy, expenses of needs vs wants, and how money grows in a savings account. It was a wonderful lesson!










Mrs. Brown's 5th grade students participated in the Georgia AG Experience Mobile today. This is a unique STEM-based educational program that allows students to use technology to experience the importance of agricultural in Georgia.











CES fourth graders had a powerful lesson today exploring factors. They used color tiles to create arrays and find all the factor pairs of a given number. Next, they participated in a gallery walk to compare arrays and discussed ways to organize their factors. Keep Shining!
