Van Wert Media Center End of Year Stats Flyer: 24,492 checkouts, 24,395 check-ins, accelerated reader 14,800 AR points, 71,503,240 words read in AR, 25,149 quizzes passed in AR that is the most in the county. We added 615 books to the library system, discarded 412, and weeded out 520. Our most popular books were there was an old lady who swallowed a chick, strictly no elephants, the angry cookie, donut worry, and the bad seed. Our students checked out 80% fiction books and 20% non-fiction books. Our top patrons were Isabella B, Grant. V, Tristian M, Trinity M, and Avery C.

The Rockmart Library Summer Reading Program starts Tuesday, May 26th. Reminder: Any upcoming Pre-K through 5th-grade student who returns their reading log at the beginning of the school year next year will receive a prize.

☀️ FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR POLK COUNTY KIDS! ☀️

The Polk School District School Nutrition Department is excited to announce the return of our Summer Meals Program! We are dedicated to ensuring our community's children stay happy, healthy, and well-fed all summer long.

Here is everything you need to know about our upcoming June distributions:

🍎 Program Details
Each pickup provides a full 7-day bulk meal kit. Limit one breakfast and one lunch per child per day.

Meals are 100% FREE for all Polk County families with children ages 18 and under.

No registration is required. Just show up during the designated times to grab your weekly meal kits. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends, neighbors, and family!
