Our students had an absolute blast during the ‘Do You Want to Build a Snowman?’ Teamwork Relay in PE! ❄️ This fun activity got everyone moving as they practiced running, taking turns, following directions, and showing great sportsmanship. We look forward to hearing about all of the real snowmen students create!

Based on conversations with state and local emergency management agencies regarding the incoming winter storm, all Polk School District campuses will transition to a Learn-from-Home day for Friday, January 10, 2025. Please refer to communication channels from your student’s respective school/teacher for guidance and expectations regarding assignments.
All extracurricular activities/sporting events for Friday and Saturday are cancelled and will be rescheduled at a later date. We apologize for any inconvenience, but will always make decisions in the best interest of our students and staff, keeping safety our first priority. Thank you for your continued support. Winter Wonderland in 5th Grade
4th & 5th graders crushed it during our PE Jump Rope Challenge! 🎯 Students worked hard to conquer and sign off on each level by completing 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100, 150, and even 200 consecutive jumps. The energy and excitement were contagious—and even some of our EES teachers jumped in (literally)! 🏆 Way to go, everyone!

The K-Kids Club will be collecting money for the Empty Stocking Fund next Tuesday and Wednesday. The members will come by your room at 7:30 on those days to collect.
Mr. Cummings and Mrs. Carlton are essential members of the Eastside family. They tirelessly work to bring fun, engaging lessons to their classes. We are so blessed to have them at our school!
