Congratulations to our Classified Employee of the Year, Shelby Tanner! Mrs. Tanner is an asset to Eastside, always volunteering to help in any department. You can help prepare them at home and let them practice the test by following the directions on this graphic . We want this to be our BEST YEAR YET! The first Kindergarten registration dates are coming up! Bring your student and your paperwork to complete registration. February 23, March 2, and March 9, from 1:00 - 4:00.

The 100th day of school is coming up on Friday!! To celebrate how "bright" we have all become, we are wearing our brightest colors. Happy 100 days!

Just a reminder that Picture Day is Tuesday when we return from Winter Break! The photographers will take individual spring portraits as well as class portraits. Have a wonderful weekend and we will see you on Tuesday!

Our 5th graders got a visit from our local game wardens this Friday.

5th graders experienced a 'Powerful Presentation' from Georgia Power.

Eastside Elementary PE update from the past few weeks! 💪🎉

PE activity stations have been keeping students moving and building a wide range of skills—frisbee throwing, underhand tossing with corn hole, basketball shooting, and riding floor scooters 🏀🥏.

Students in 3rd–5th grade also set individual health and wellness goals, taking ownership of their fitness and personal growth ❤️‍🔥

One of the biggest hits? Hula Hoop Showdown! Students hop through hula hoops, and when they meet a classmate, it’s time for a friendly battle of rock, paper, scissors ✊✋✌️. Winners keep moving and can earn points for their team—lots of laughter, teamwork, and movement all around!

We love seeing our students active, engaged, and having fun while learning about lifelong healthy habits! 👟✨

Beta Club meeting on Tuesday!

Picture day is coming up on February 17! This will be for Spring Pictures and Whole Class portraits.

Winter break is coming up February 13 - 16! We hope you have a restful break and we look forward to seeing everyone back on February 17.
