Fourth grade received a special tool called a "Hooey stick" to demonstrate how sound waves can move a propeller. This was a generous donation from Michael Parker. He used a 3-D printer to make this exciting tool for us to experiment with sound waves. Thank you for your time and support of our school!

☀️ FREE SUMMER MEALS FOR POLK COUNTY KIDS! ☀️

The Polk School District School Nutrition Department is excited to announce the return of our Summer Meals Program! We are dedicated to ensuring our community's children stay happy, healthy, and well-fed all summer long.

Here is everything you need to know about our upcoming June distributions:

⏰ Pickup Time
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

📍 Pickup Locations
You can pick up meals at either of these convenient locations:

Youngs Grove Elementary School

Van Wert Elementary School

🍎 Program Details
Each pickup provides a full 7-day bulk meal kit. Limit one breakfast and one lunch per child per day.

Meals are 100% FREE for all Polk County families with children ages 18 and under.

No registration is required. Just show up during the designated times to grab your weekly meal kits. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends, neighbors, and family!
