Ms. Pace's reading class enjoyed "Sploosh" while watching the movie Holes. The students completed reading this week in class including the extended text/chapter. Even Mr. Honore and Mr. G tried the Sploosh. Reading is so much fun and can even be tasty!

Mrs. Garner's class ate snacks to celebrate finishing the book "Holes" by Louis Sachar. The snacks included Funyuns for Sam's fresh, hot, sweet onions, gummy worms for rattlesnakes and lizards in the book, a cup of "Sploosh," and a bottle of water.

Mrs. Guthrie's class carving, JR, their pumpkin! #thriveatthehive #makeithappen

After reading “The Case of the Mummy Mystery” Mrs. Chappell's students went “digging" for worms to eat just like the characters in the story. The main character's classmates dug for the fattest, juiciest worm for him to eat because he said he’ll eat a worm for $1.

Mrs. Irvin's students have been enjoying many fun activities like painting pumpkins, making moon dough, visiting the library, and so much more!

Our 1st-grade team is sponsoring a Boo Bash Dance this Friday, November 1, 2024, during activity times.
