This week, kindergarten and first grade students have been engaged in a creative project involving the creation of their own 'creepy carrots' inspired by the book “Creepy Carrots” by Aaron Reynolds. They have also been discussing their favorite problem/solution from the story.











Our first grade students had a wonderful time on their field trip to Rocky Hollow Pumpkin Patch! #thriveatthehive











Students in Mrs. Morris’ 5th grade PEP class had a GREAT field trip to Jekyll Island! They learned about beach ecology, maritime forest, salt marsh ecology, and dissected a shark. They learned so much!! And we’re so proud of their great behavior & how they represented Van Wert!
