🎉 In PE last week, our Kindergarten and 1st-grade students had a blast with the Great 8 Scarf Challenge! ✨ These activities helped us work on motor skills, coordination, and most importantly, having fun while moving! 🏃♀️
It’s always exciting to see our youngest learners growing and enjoying movement.

Attention parents and grandparents of 5th grade students!

Eastside is excited to welcome our new School Nurse, Kristen Maxedon!

Pre-k enjoyed their field trip to West End Cinema to see Inside-Out 2 and learn about different emotions.

Join us during the week of December 17 - 20 for some fun dress-up days!

First Grade fun and learning!

When the weather was warmer, we kicked off the Marathon Kids Movement Program at Eastside with our 2nd-5th graders in P.E., and the kids loved it!
This program is all about encouraging students to move at their own pace—whether walking, jogging, or running—while working toward the goal of increasing their physical activity.
We’re so proud of their excitement and effort to build healthy habits that will last a lifetime!
Fun PE updates for Kindergarten and First grade are coming soon ⭐️

Kindergarten's bellies were full of pumpkin pie & homemade butter.

Kindergarten celebrated Thanksgiving BIG this week!

Pre-k enjoyed sharing their Turkeys in Disguise with their class and what they are thankful for.

Pre-k enjoyed learning about the Pilgrims and Indians. They learned songs and took part in a Thanksgiving Play. They ended the week with a feast!❤️

The Eastside Junior Beta Club is doing a service project to benefit the local foster children. You can help by donating items for our Stuff the Stocking Project. We are collecting Toiletry items, toothbrushes/toothpaste, body sprays, small stuffed animals, hair brushes/elastics, coloring books & crayons, school supplies, socks, cards and small games, mini game sets, and small journals.
If you would like to donate items, please drop them off at Eastside Elementary or send them in with your student. Thank you for supporting our efforts to serve our community!
