Final Exam Information – Please Read Carefully
Students have received an Exam Exemption Form. This form indicates whether they are exempt from their final exams and provides all instructions for exam week, December 16–19.
All students must return their Exam Exemption Form to the office, whether they are exempt or not.
If a student wishes to sign out after exams, or if they are exempt but still plan to attend school on exam days, the form must be signed by a parent/guardian before being returned.
For full details, please review the Exam Exemption Form your student received.
Please note, for exempted students:
•Attendance will still be taken every single day during exam week. This is necessary to know exactly which students are on campus for safety and accountability.
• Students who are exempt and choose not to attend school during exam days will be marked absent in PowerSchool.
• PowerSchool will still send an automated absence call. If your child is exempt and not on campus, this call may be disregarded.
• These absences will not affect their exam or attendance exemption status.

Polk School District students will have an early release day on Friday, December 19, 2025.
Elementary Schools: Dismiss at 11:30 AM
Middle & High Schools: Dismiss at 12:00 PM
A sack lunch will be provided to all students before dismissal.
Please note: All After School programs will be closed on this day.
We wish all of our PSD families a safe and fun-filled holiday season! ❄️✨

Behind every can donated is a story of hope, compassion, and community. Your small act of kindness can fill an empty pantry, bring comfort to a struggling family, and remind someone they’re not alone.
Let’s show what it truly means to be a Bulldog: strong, united, and full of heart. 🐾

It’s that special time of year when our school community comes together to make a difference! From November 11 through November 21, we’re hosting our Annual Canned Food Drive, with a district-wide goal of collecting 25,000 cans to help local families in need. 💙
✅ How to Help:
Bring non-perishable canned goods to your school during the drive dates. Every can counts toward our goal!
Let’s show the power of kindness, teamwork, and community spirit. Together, we can fill pantry shelves and hearts this holiday season. 💪❤️
