Congratulations to the following students who won their 4th and 5th Grade Classroom Spelling Bee! These students will participate in our School-Wide Spelling Bee on Wednesday, January 29th in our Media Center. The winner and runner-up of our school spelling bee will participate in the District-Wide Spelling Bee in January. Good luck!

We are so proud to announce that Addisyn Chavez is our TOP Reader for Quarter 1. Addisyn Chavez is a third grade student in Miss White's homeroom. She has earned 38 A.R. points and has an 87% correct. Way to go, Addy!

Just a reminder that our Fall Carnival is Friday, October 13th. This will be a fun, family event and we look forward to seeing you there.

October 24th-27th is Red Ribbon Week. Our students may participate in the following dress-up days.

Our Fall Carnival is coming up on Friday, October 13th from 5-6:30 p.m. There will be games, prizes, food, and hay rides. We hope you will join us for this festive event.


If your student missed Fall Picture Day or needs retakes, they will be taken this Friday, October 6th. This is the picture that will be in the yearbook, so if your child did not get a picture made earlier this year, please make sure he/ she is here for retakes.

October is National Principal's Month. We are so proud to celebrate Dr. Kyle Abernathy for his leadership, dedication and commitment to Northside Elementary. He brings us joy on a daily basis, makes us laugh, inspires us all, and loves our students and staff. Thank you, Dr. Abernathy for all that you do to make sure "there's no side like NORTHSIDE!"
