CMS Bulldog Family, we are so excited to see you TOMORROW (Tuesday, August 5 from 4-6pm) for CMS Open House! Please review the logistical plan below prior to arriving to ensure a smooth Open House experience:
- ALL guests will enter through the Gym Lobby doors to pick up your schedule in the Gym
- Walk around the school and meet your teachers
- Head to the Cafeteria to meet your Bus Driver, get your car rider tags, and checkout clubs & athletics
- Take a photo at our Photo Station in the Commons & Share on Social Media #CMSDawgs #BulldogGrit

If your student plans to ride a bus during the 2025-2026 school year, please plan to visit with a member of the transportation department at Open House:

📍 Get your pick-up/drop-off times & locations

Drivers and staff will be available during the following times at Open House on August 5, 2025:

Elementary Schools
3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Middle Schools
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Khaylie Burnley - Math Teacher
My name is Khaylie Burnley, and I’m so excited to begin my first year at Cedartown Middle School as a 6th-grade Math Teacher! This will be my fourth year in education, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where all students can grow and succeed.
I am married to Seth Burnley, and together we have three wonderful kids: a 5-year-old son starting kindergarten at WES, a 2-year-old daughter, and a 5-month-old baby boy. I’m so happy to be part of the CMS Family and can’t wait for a great year ahead!

ALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS:
🎒 Drop-Off Time - 7:00 AM
🏫 School Start Time - 7:30 AM
🚍 School End Time - 2:30 PM

CMS & RMS SCHOOLS:
🎒 Drop-Off Time - 7:15 AM
🏫 School Start Time - 7:45 AM
🚍 School End Time - 3:20 PM

CHS & RHS SCHOOLS:
🎒 Drop-Off Time - 7:30 AM
🏫 School Start Time - 8:00 AM
🚍 School End Time - 3:25 PM
