This is my 19th year teaching Construction Technology at CHS. I graduated from CHS in 1988 and Jacksonville State University in 1992. I obtained my Trade and Industry and Construction Cluster teaching certification from Georgia State University. I worked in the plumbing industry for 15 years prior to teaching. I also hold a plumbing license in Georgia and Alabama and a Residential General Contractor license in Georgia. I currently teach pathways in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry.

As an educator, I feel that every student has a motivation. PCCCA has several career pathways that allow the student to find these motivations. If a student is motivated to learn the skills being taught, he or she will be successful in their pathway. Like Mark Twain once said " The secret of getting ahead is getting started". I hope students find success because I taught them the skills to get started.
