"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." - Benjamin Franklin
Hi, my name is Natoshia Tyquiengco and this is my 2nd year at Eastside. I will be teaching K-4th resource math. This is my seventh year teaching special education in and I have worked with grades K-8th. I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2011 with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and from Walden University with my Masters in Special Education in 2017. I am currently working on my Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction at Piedmont College and will graduate this December.
As a child I always wanted to be a teacher. I can honestly say that I have my dream job! I am beyond excited to get to know my each and every one of my students, academically and personally. I am a firm believer that you must get to know your students on a personal level to help them reach their fullest potential academically. I am a teacher who believes in structure but I also believe that the only way to truly learn is to make it fun! It is an honor and a pleasure to teach your child and promise to love and treat them as if they were mine own.
