Hello! My name is Danielle Coley. This is my 12th year teaching. I have taught Pre-K, 3rd grade & Kindergarten. This year is my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade and I am so excited! I graduated in December 2006 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University. I received my Master's Degree in 2009 in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University. I completed my Specialist Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in December 2013. I have been married for 11 years to Brent Coley, high school math teacher at Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, GA. We have two children, Jaxon Coley, age 7 in December, and Jace Coley, age 5.
My favorite part of education is instruction. I love to build lessons that bring learning to life for my students. I love to use technology in my classroom to differentiate my lessons for my students needs. I believe that every child can learn. It is important to me to create a positive learning environment where all students feel safe and secure. It is always my goal as an educator to find what works best for each student in the classroom. I strive to help my students reach their full potential and develop a love for learning along the way.
