Peppermint rock activity, simulating weathering of rocks by water 


Got some great pics of weathering, erosion, and deposition. 

Checking out some cool rocks during a field trip on the CMS campus. We found samples of all three types of rocks.

Found a great amount of weathering, erosion, and deposition behind the gazebo a couple of weeks ago!  Had a big time!

Had a great time simulating the rock cycle with starburst ! 


We are integrating technology with science daily and utilizing apps such as showbie, socrative, Kahoot, ipages,

poplet, ibrainstorm, write about, 

Tellagami, and qr codes on a daily basis. 


     I graduated from Berry College twice,  with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management first,

and then a Master of Education in Middle Grades.  I have a North Carolina teaching license

as well as being certified to teach Georgia.

     I am highly qualified to teach science, social sciences, technology, and business.

I have previously taught 8th Grade Integrated Science in Charlotte, NC,

as well as being a Academic Instructor at Wheeler Correctional Facility in Alamo, Ga.

For the 2015-2016 school year, I will be teaching both 6th and 8th grade science. 



I cannot teach anybody anything, I can only make them think.
