Description:

English Language Arts is the study of phonemic awareness, reading fluency, reading comprehension and writing in a variety of genres.

We will be using the Fry First 200 Sight Word list to build our knowledge of sight words. Research shows that sight word recognition skills help learners read irregular words, words that are governed by more complex spelling and longer complex words.
