Setting: When and where the story happens.
Problem: The main issue, struggle, or conflict that the main characters are up against.
Theme: The lesson or message that the author wants you to learn from the story.
Narrator: The person that tells the story.
Character traits: Adjectives that describe a person on the inside.
Character: A person or animal in the story.
Genre: A category of passages or text, such as fiction and nonfiction. Each genre has a style, form, and content.
Plot: The events that happen in the beginning, middle, and end of the story.
Passage: A short piece of writing or text from a book.
Conclude: When you arrive at a decision or opinion by reasoning.
