8:50 - 9:40       Small group writing with Dingler/IXL/AR/Daily Grammar Practice/Guided Reading 

9:40 - 10:30     Shared Reading/Novel Study

10:30 - 11:10     EIP with Wilson/Ready Georgia

11:10 - 11:25      recess

11:32 - 12:04     lunch

**Swap classes for the afternoon with Sanders

12:10 - 1:00       Shared Reading/Novel Study   

1:00 - 1:50         Small group writing with Dingler/IXL/AR/Daily Grammar Practice/Guided Reading

1:50 - 2:40        EIP with Runyan/Reading Georgia

2:40 - 2:45        swap back to homeroom to dismiss classes

2:45                    Dismissal

Friday: PE


We use the demerit system in 3rd grade. The homeroom grade on the report card/progress report is reflected by the choices your child makes. Each demerit takes 2 points off the homeroom/behavior grade. 


Consequences for positive behaviors:

earning camper bucks with rewards such as- Blow Pop, ice cream, trip to school store, lunch with a friend, field trip to movies

stamp in agenda

earning classroom monthly rewards such as- extra recess, pencil, extra technology time, snack


Consequences for negative behaviors:

1. Warning

2. Demerit (or mark documented with teacher)

3. After 3 demerits- student loses recess

4. After 2 more demerits- student receives phone call home or parent conference; referral to counselor may be warranted at this time

5. After 2 more demerits- student is referred to office for a pink slip/suspension
