My name is Mrs. Wright. I received my Associate of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Highlands in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Shorter College in 2009 concentrating in Middle Grades Math and Science.
My teaching career began in 2011 at Sonoraville Middle School where I taught 8th grade physical science for 3 years. Then, I taught 5th and 6th grade math at North Hights Elementary for one year. After my one year in Rome City Schools, I taught Pre-K at Garden Lakes Baptist Church. My career landed in Polk School Disctrict in 2016 when I started teaching at Cedartown Middle School. I have taught all three grade levels since arriving at CMS. I currently teach 6th grade gifted and 8th grade science here at Cedartown Middle School.

Philosophy of Education:
All students have the ability to learn; but not all students learn at the same pace by the same means. As a teacher, it is my job to provide opportunities for students to gain knowledge, be engaged and make connections to the real world. Students should be exposed to real problems and learn how to solve any problem posed in the classroom, society, and globally.
