I graduated from Rockmart High School in 2005 and in 2011 I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. In 2016 I earned my Masters Degree from Walden University with a specialization in K-5 Elementary Mathematics and Reading. I just recently earned my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College.

My name is Lauren King and I am the Directed Studies Teacher here at Eastside Elementary.
I have been married to my husband Jeremy for ten years. We have a little boy named Jaxon and a little girl named Aubree Jae. This is my tenth year of teaching. I began my teaching career in 2011 when I was hired to teach Pre-K. I taught Pre-K for three years. I then became the Directed Studies teacher and welcome students into the Instructional Lab. Teaching is such a blessing to me and I look forward to another awesome year at Eastside Elementary.
