I graduated from Mercer University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am currently going to school for my Masters.

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year. I have been in education for 15 years. Most recently, I taught kindergarten here at Eastside. While I loved the experience, my heart is with fifth graders. Before going to kindergarten, I spent 9 years working with the fifth grade team here at Eastside co-teaching and teaching in small group settings. I am thrilled to be back in fifth grade this year with a homeroom, teaching math and science. I am married to my high school sweetheart (David), and I have two children (Ava-9 yrs old and Lucas-7 yrs old).
