My name is Shannon Warden, and I am the school counselor at Youngs Grove. This is my first year with Polk School District, and I am so excited to become a part of the PSD family! I am originally from Tennessee, but Georgia is now my home. I graduated from Berry College with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and anthropology with a minor in psychology. I received my master’s degree in school counseling from Jacksonville State University. When I’m not at school, I enjoy traveling, reading, art, and music. However, my utmost passion is to serve students and their families, and I aim to provide students with resources and support that helps them to utilize their personal strengths in order to reach their full academic and social/emotional potentials.
