I am from Cave Spring, GA and graduated from Coosa High School in 2004. I attended the University of West Georgia and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Master of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia in 2009 and my Education Specialist in Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College in 2012. I also have my Reading Endorsement for Early Childhood Education and I am certified in Middle Grades Math and Special Education
Mrs. Lauren Wigley
My name is Lauren Wigley. I began my teaching career at Villa Rica Elementary in 2008 as a kindergarten teacher. I taught kindergarten and second grade at Villa Rica Elementary before I moved to Youngs Grove Elementary in December 2012. While at Youngs Grove, I taught third grade, fourth grade, and special ed. This is my sixth year at Cherokee Elementary and I teach 4th Grade Math, Science, and Social Studies. I am happily married to Levi Wigley and we currently live in Cedartown. Levi teaches and coaches at Cedartown Middle School. Levi and I have three children: Ava (9), Abrey (9), and Lawson (1).
