Here's a little bit about me... I absolutely love teaching! I remember dreaming of becoming a teacher when I was eight years old and in the second grade.  I am still in awe that my dream came true.  Amazing..... I'm in my 21st year of doing what I love - teaching precious kids!  I feel honored that I have the opportunity to see children learn and experience new things on a daily basis.  

When I am not at school, I love spending time with my wonderful husband and precious son and daughter, as well as extended family and friends.  I love going to church, reading, and cheering on the University of Alabama!  Roll Tide!!

My philosophy of education is to challenge students and watch them thrive in my classroom.  I believe that every child is capable of learning something each and every day.  I believe that collaborative learning, classroom discussions, and a warm, classroom environment are all key components to this success.  My favorite part of teaching is watching students bloom throughout a school year.  They often amaze themselves at what they are learning.
