Welcome to our third grade classroom! I am Mrs. Diane Tracy. This is my 7th year teaching at Cherokee Elementary School. I am very excited about this school year and look forward to having a wonderful time.

I believe all children are capable of learning.  Students can learn when they are accepted for who and where they are in their educational journey.  Effective learning requires a collaboration between teachers, students, and parents.  I believe learning takes place best in a positive safe environment.  Each student learns differently, and it is important that I meet the needs of each student.  I must learn as much as I can about each student for that to be possible.  Teaching is my passion!
