Introduction

Welcome to my website! This is my 10th year teaching in Polk School District. I am certified to teach high school and middle school mathematics, health, and physical education at all grade levels. I currently am the assistant baseball and softball coach at CHS. Philosophy

My personal philosophy as an educator is to deliver a high-quality and highly rigorous curriculum to better prepare them for a highly-competitive world. I want our students at Cherokee Elementary School to be prepared for sports and other fitness activities, be equipped with the skills needed to allow them to be successful, and to be confident as they pursue their profession. As a Physical Education teacher, I will teach good sportsmanship, focus on teaching a variety of skills incorporating different sports, maintain a safe environment, and emphasize the importance of nutrition and exercise throughout students' lives.
