Hello! My name is Kelly Bates. I am beginning my second year as a PreK teacher at Cherokee Elementary.  I retired from Cherokee County Alabama with 25 years service in the elementary classroom before coming to Cherokee.

I am married to Greg Bates, and have 3 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, and 1 granddaughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and working in my flower garden.
