I am an eighth-grade mathematics teacher, and I have taught in Polk County for 36 years.

I believe that learning is an active process and effective learning requires collaboration among teachers, students, and parents grounded in mutual respect and trust. In order to make each year a successful one, teamwork and cooperation are required by all.
