I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kennesaw State University in 2010. I also enjoy teaching and obtained a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Southern California in 2012.
Mr. Mederic Rodriguez
Hello, my name is Mederic Rodriguez. I teach 9th grade physical science at Cedartown Middle School. This is my 4th year at CMS and my 7th year teaching. Although I have lived in Georgia most of my life, I was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where I lived for five years.
My hobbies include music and writing, and I am active at my church as the youth director and music director.
As a teacher I seek to bring out the best in students by continually believing in their ability to do well. The skills taught in my class, problem solving and team work, are skills that will help them succeed at whatever they decide to do with their lives. My goal is for them to believe in themselves the way I do so that they can consistently do well not just in my course but in all their courses.
I am looking forward to a great year and I hope that together we can accomplish great things at Cedartown Middle School.
