Welcome to Cedartown Middle School! 

This marks my fourth year at CMS as a social studies teacher.  This will be my second year teaching 8th grade Georgia History, after previously teaching 6th grade. 

I previously worked at West End Elementary with Rome City Schools as a computer teacher for grades pre-k - 6th. I have also worked at Model High School where I helped with the special education department.

I hope to bring a lot of REAL world activites in the classroom with my experience with my past professions!  I worked in the world of radio for over 15 years, DJ'ing for Q102 and South 107 in Rome and broadcasting football for WJTH in Calhoun.

My coaching history includes coaching special teams for the Georgia Renegades semi-professional football team and 14 and under basketball.  I am also currently the head coach of the middle school softball team.

My love for history was sparked when I took history classes in Europe. It was an awesome experience learning in such places as Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. I can't wait to share my love with my students!
