I have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education and an add on certification in Early Childhood Education. My master's degree is in Elementary Mathematics. I have a Teacher Leadership Degree and a Reading Endorsement. I have been teaching for 24 years, and I look forward to another exciting year at Van Wert.

I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. My name is Heather Pemberton. I have two precious children named Chloe and Ethan. My husband and I live in Euharlee and love being close to the Polk County community. I believe that all children can grow and shine. As a teacher I want to help children to reach their top potentials and challenge them to exceed. Working in a positive atmosphere will allow them to build up their self esteems and allow them to learn to be positive contributors to both our room and to their communities. Together we all become the best we can be.
