I graduated from Rome High School in 2014 and graduated from the University of North Georgia with my Bachelor of Arts in English with Teacher Certification in May 2019.

My name is Lauren Forston and I am originally from the Rome area; however, I have been a resident of Polk County since 2008.
This year I will be teaching 7th Grade ELA Connections and am looking forward to an incredible year!
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that all students can achieve great things, if given the appropriate support. Creating a positive and accepting environment is critical to student learning. It is my goal for all students to know that they are safe and welcome in my classroom. I want students to leave my classroom feeling encouraged, inspired, and know that they can do anything they work towards achieving.
