Hi! My name is Jennae Elder, and I teach Business, Management, and Administration. I currently co-teach with the Career teacher, Mr. Little. We teach in a computer lab with 60 Dell computers. We have fully integrated both of the standards for these two classes into our curriculum. We have created all of our lesson plans and projects to include both of the Georgia Performance Standards from each subject area. Each of our project's worksheets includes the standards covered for each subject, the essential questions, and step by step directions for each activity. Students at Cedartown Middle School are getting extra technology skills because computers are integrated into Career Curriculum. We are also responsible for making sure every student in our school meets the requirements of the Bridge Act. Each student will have a portfolio in the Georgia Career Information System (GCIS) to ensure the requirements are met for each grade level.
