Welcome to 6th grade Earth Science. This is my seventh year at Cedartown Middle School. I have taught 6th grade and 8th grade here at CMS. I have also taught special needs PreK at Euharlee Elementary in Bartow County. I am looking forward to working with the students this year. I am a native of Cedartown.

I am married to Neil Corn and we have two boys, Ramsey and Baxley.

I am continuing my education so that I may develop an authentic learning environment for my students. I enjoy teaching, experienceing new things, and sharing my experiences with others. I know that we are going to have a great year.

Educational Philosophy

I believe that all students are gifted and talented. My goal is to develop an understanding of every student to discover how they learn and what they are capable of doing. By developing this understanding, I will be able to push each student to the next level of their learning. The success of my students is the success of myself. When students walk through my door they will know that they are in a place where they are safe, cared for, appreciated, and that their opinions and beliefs are respected.
