Welcome to Alternative School. Here, we focus on getting back to the basics and the understanding of what it takes to be successful in the classroom. We will utilize many different approaches and delivery styles. Discipline and structure are two major key factors that ensure positive results in the world today and we will work to involve both in our classroom. Content areas will be covered through research, presentations, projects, debates and guest speakers. We feel that if students are hands on, retaining the information taught is much easier. 

Positive In, Positive Out! The students will hear me use this phrase many times throughout the year. I believe that if I see the world as a positive, I will speak about the world in a positive way. I am married to Dawn (McWilliams) Collier, two children, Kristen and Jake. I have coached football, wrestling, baseball. This is my 6 year at Cedartown.
