In the CNA Classroom, we strive for excellence along with many other endeavors on a daily basis. My goal is to provide a meaningful learning environment in which real world connections to providing healthcare in a medical care facility is incorporated. The students complete clinicals at two local nursing homes in our community. I encourage students to create a healthcare goal for themselves and we strive to incorporate strategies in which the student can work to achieve and surpass these goals of a healthcare career. Along our educational journey, I hope to instill outstanding work ethics, creative problem solving, higher levels of thinking as well as compassionate, loving and caring connections towards healthcare consumers.
