I am excited to be a part of the CTAE College and Career Academy teaching Public Safety located at both the Cedartown & Rockmart High School campuses during the 2020 - 2021 school year.  Combining my teaching and law enforcement careers, I have 18 years of total experience to support you.

5 years as a sworn police officer with the City of Powder Springs

4 years as Pope High School's Law and Justice teacher

4 years as East Cobb Middle School's ISS teacher

5 years as a Polk County College and Career Academy Law & Justice teacher

At PSPD I served as the Sergeant over Community Outreach heading up a variety of programs such as D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violent Encounters), Neighborhood Watch, Explorer Post #145, and supervised our non-sworn employees. I also had the privilege of assisting elite officials including the Chief of Police and Mayor.
