As a 1990 Cedartown High School graduate, I serve the students of CHS with Bulldog Pride by teaching Geometry and Algebra I! I began teaching in 2006. I worked for for Polk School District in Special Education and Mathematics in both Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools between 2006-2015. I served the needs of Rome High School students between 2015-2018 and was recognized for Excellence in EOC Geometry Scores and as Employee of the Month. I was also among a coveted group of educators to join this summer in Atlanta for the DRC Rangefinding Meetings which set the rubric for grading End of Course (EOC) test for the State of Georgia. I returned to PSD in 2018, and look forward to continued service.
I believe ALL students can be successful in mathematics. Math class is a place to develop thinking skills students can use in the workplace and throughout life. Everyone is expected to work hard, do his or her very best and never give up. It is my pleasure to serve each student.
