The 2020-2021 school year is my 4th year at Cedartown High School and my 19th year teaching, all in the state of Georgia.
It was one of the best experiences of my life! I continued my education at the Univeristy of West Georgia, earning my Master's degree in School Library Media in 2009 and my Specialist's degree in School Library Media in 2013. I love to travel and have visited Canada, England, France, Mexico, Honduras, Spain, Portugal, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. I currently teach Spanish 2 and 3.
I knew from a young age I wanted to be a teacher and I cannot image doing anything else. As an educator, I believe that every student is unique and deserves a chance to learn in a safe, fun, and challenging environment. My goal is to help my students achieve their potential and to foster a life-long love of learning that will follow them far beyond the walls of the school.
