Ms. Heidi Nostrom
Welcome to Ms. Nostrom's Social Studies class. I am excited to be beginning my fifth year at CHS and am looking forward to teaching you.
Philosophy:
Effort Counts. As humans, we tend to appreciate the things we work hard for. If it comes easy, it's not valued as much. The same thing holds true in school. We tend to feel great about a hard earned C over an easy A. I will work with anyone who is trying their hardest, but not quite making it. Effort goes a long way, and is greatly appreciated.

Career:
After spending 22yrs working with the general public in the restaurant industry, I decided I needed a change, something that was more concrete and fulfilling. I went back to school and majored in history and then received my masters in social studies education.
In 2015 I was hired at RHS, and in 2016 transferred to CHS where I remain today.
Family
I have one son who is currently about to graduate this September from Neumont College of Computer Science in Salt Lake City, Utah.
