I graduated from Cedartown High School in 2004, from the University of Georgia with my Bachelors degree in Child & family Development from in 2008, my Masters degree in Special Education in 2010, and my Specialist degree in Special Education in 2013.

Hello everyone and thank you for checking out my classroom profile!
This school year is my 11th year teaching in Polk School District and my sixth year teaching at Cedartown High School. I have five previous years of teaching experience at Rockmart High School. I have previously taught all grade levels and a wide variety of science subjects such as Physical Science (9th grade), Biololgy (10th grade), Human Anatomy (11th grade), and Environmental Science (12th grade).
I currently reside in Cedartown, Georgia with my husband Edward Graves, our son Ward, our daughters Georgia Anne and Jewell, and our fur baby, Woody.
I am looking forward to getting to know my high school students this year through my positive classroom environment and commitment to promoting success both in high school as well as creating life long learners. I enjoy encouraging school spirit and community involvement by cheering on the CHS Bulldogs. I am very excited about being the CHS Student Council Sponsor along with Jennifer Cupp.
