I am entering my 19th year as a teacher at Cedartown High School.
My background in business allows me to teach students the importance of understand the global issues we all face daily.
I have three children. Daniel is a Captain, serving as an Armor Officer in the United States Army. He and his wife Katie are expecting their first child this year. My twin daughters, Meredith and Megan are 2016 graduates of the University of Georgia and 2020 graduates of South University with graduate degrees as Physician Assistants. I am married to Gina Gaines, who is a registered nurse.
My philosophy of education is held in the belief that every student can learn and succeed in life. I will provide each student with the opportunity to use their special talents to succeed. Realizing each student is a unique person, I hope to help everyone achieve their full potential.
