I graduated from the University of West Georgia with my Bachelor's degree in education.

This will be my 11th teaching in PSD. This is my 9th year as an inclusion teacher at Cedartown High School and I was also a paraprofessional for 2 years at Northside Elementary.
I am also certified to teach P-12 as an Exceptional Education Inclusion teacher, as well as 6-12th grade ELA. I plan on earning my Master's degree in Exceptional Education in near future.
My philosophy of education is that each student is unique and learns differently. It is paramount to know your students' capabilities and disabilities when planning and teaching lessons. It is also crucial to provide individual scaffolding and support to said students.
