Degrees and Certifications:

I graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. I started teaching at CHS in 2008. In 2013, I obtained my Master of Science in Education degree from Walden University. I moved to Cedartown in 2010 and have grown to love this community.

Mrs. Jennifer Cox

My name is Jennifer Cox and I am a science teacher at Cedartown High School. This year, I am teaching environmental science and earth systems.

I grew up in Trion, Georgia where I graduated from Trion High School. I started my college career at Shorter University and then transferred to Kennesaw State University.

I have three year old twins, Elsie Claire and Eli. Outside the classroom, I enjoy quality time with my family, traveling, reading, and anything that requires creativity.

I am honored to have the opportunity to teach the students of CHS and I assure you I take my responsibilities seriously. I am excited about this school year and the positive changes taking place at CHS and in the Polk School DIstrict. I am confident that by working together we can properly prepare our students for the life that awaits them after graduation.
