Mr. Calhoun Victor
This is my third year teaching at Rockmart High School. I am currently teaching in the collaborative setting with Dr. Stone (Advanced Mathematical Decision Making and Algebra 2), Mr. Staples (Geometry), and Mrs. Purser (Algebra 2). I get to see students ranging from 10th - 12th grade each day!
I am also the boys basketball coach here at RHS. Our teams have won the region tournament championship and region regular season titles the last two years and have advanced to the Elite 8 and two Sweet 16's of the State playoffs!
My wife, Rachel, and I moved here to Rockmart in 2018 and we absolutely love the community and the school system! We are proud to live in a community with such amazing people that support the school system and its amazing students! Outside of school hours and basketball season you'll likely find me on a stroll with my family or on a long run on the Silver Comet!
I have been teaching for 9 years. I worked at Villa Rica High School for six years before coming to Rockmart. I am currently pursuing my Education Specialist Degree from Augusta University in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Special Education.
