I am Dawn Brown. I have been teaching for 22 years. I have taught multiple subjects during my time here at RHS. I have taught in both inclusion and resource settings. I currently will be teaching English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, and Social Skills in the Adapted Curriculum classroom setting. I love teaching, it is the best job I have had and I hope to be able to continue for many more years to come. I enjoy working with students and watching them learn and grow.( I am also the Academic Team Coach - this is where students from different schools compete against each other, answering a series of questions on a variety of information.)

My Educational philosophy is I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I will help children to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals. I will assist children in discovering who they are , so they can express their own opinions, and nurture their own ideas. I have a vision of a world where people learn to respect, accept and embrace the differences between us, as the core of what makes life so fascinating.
