My name is Kara Lawrence.  I have been married to my wonderful husband, Steve for 24 years.  We have a beautiful canine daughter named Lulu Belle. We enjoy spoiling her rotten! We have a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that we like to spoil as well.

As a young child, I knew I wanted to be a teacher.  I have always enjoyed working with children and watching them learn to read and explore knowledge.

This school year begins my 24th year of teaching. I spent 13 years teaching at Westside Elementary School. Then I had the pleasure of being part of the new Youngs Grove Elementary School when it opened. I look forward to many more years of teaching young minds!
