Hi, I'm LaDonna Hicks and I am excited about Third Grade! I have taught at Youngs Grove since it opened in 2010. I taught at Cherokee Elementary for 11 years prior to moving to Youngs Grove.

I began teaching pre-kindergarten in Floyd County in 1996. I am so proud to be teaching in my hometown. I can't imagine any other career.  I am looking forward to another great year!

I am married to Billy Hicks and we have two awesome kids! MiKayla, our daughter, is 25 and happily married to Trevor Brewster and Caleb is an eighth grader at Cedartown Middle School. As a family, we love traveling, riding ATVs, eating out, playing games, and participating in church activities.
