It takes a village to raise a child. This will be my third year of teaching Pre-K at Youngs Grove Elementary.

 I am married to Casey Frady and we have two children. Peyton is fourteen years old and Josie is six years old. We have a black lab named Barky and a german shepherd named Chase.

I feel that education is a life long process. I am still learning every day. The building blocks of learning begin in the early elementary years. The time they spend with me is so important. I strive to prepare lessons to meet the needs of each individual student. They all learn in different ways and at different paces. I will listen to the students thoughts and ideas throughout the day to better get to know them and what they are thinking. I will encourage students to express themselves creatively. We learn so much through play in Pre-K. Every child in my classroom will be valued and respected as an individual. Our classroom environment is such that each child can grow, feel loved and secure. We have rules so that children are aware that the choices and actions they make have consequences.
