I am happy to be at Youngs Grove this year for my 23nd year of teaching. My professional background includes Preschool, first grade and special education in elementary and high school settings. This is my 3nd year teaching kindergarten and I am glad to be on the team here at "The Grove." My  husband is a native of Cedartown, and I have 2 children who are proud graduates of CHS.

My Philosophy of education is impacted by my background in working with preschool and students with developmental disabilities. No matter our age or level of ability we are all lifelong learners. Our potential for success is greater when we increase our level of independence, confidence and self sufficiency. Our future is determined by our will when we are not waiting on others to help us along.
